Tuesday 9/28 is National Voter Registration Day!
September 25, 2021

Did you know?: Community was one of the highest-converting platforms for civic engagement during the 2020 election? 18+ year olds who received their voter registration link from a Community Leader were 10X more likely to complete it!

If you want to help register voters today, start a conversation with your 18+ Members by sending them a quick text, reminding them to check their registration status.

Some tips for crafting your text:

* Include a link. A voter registration link will make your Members much more likely to complete their registration!

* Phrase your message around "double checking" registration status, rather than asking them to register.

* Include a call to action, so your Members are more likely to respond — for example, "let me know!"

Try one of these texts to engage your Members that are 18+:

Today is National Voter Registration Day! Can you check your registration status for me? It's super quick: https://my.voteamerica.com/verify
It's National Voter Registration Day! That means it's the day to register and use your voice in your community. ❣️ Check your status here: https://my.voteamerica.com/verify
Happy Tuesday... and National Voter Registration Day! If you're not already registered, it's super quick, and the best way to use your voice. ❣️ https://my.voteamerica.com/verify

You already know that Community is a great way to engage with your audience, and start genuine conversations about the things that matter most to you (and them!). Use National Voter Registration Day as an opportunity to remind them to check their status, and make a difference in their own community. Whether your Member is a young adult unsure of how to register, or a seasoned voter who needs a reminder to update their registration forms — your text can make a difference, and encourage your Members to use their vote.
