Using Communities for Social Awareness

Want to have deeper, meaningful conversations with your members around what’s happening? Here are three steps to encourage this:

1. Build Communities with keywords related to topics you want to discuss. For example, a “Black Lives Matter” Community could capture these keywords: “black lives,” “BLM,” “police,” “protest”. Filter your inbox by this Community to view conversations related to these topics.

2. Reach out to your followers on social and Community members to encourage them to text if they want more information or resources and to have an open dialogue with you.

3. Share examples from your Community on social media of the types of conversations you want to have more of and encourage followers to text.
